This is a key role in a cross-functional Agile team where you'll contribute to designing and implementing APIs that drive business-critical features.Key Responsibilities:Design and development of backend REST APIs using QuarkusTroubleshoot and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycleCollaborate in Scrum ceremonies and grooming sessions to estimate and refine work itemsEnsure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD)Technical Requirements:Proven experience in Java backend development, ideally with QuarkusStrong knowledge of Java JEE, JPA, and Oracle SQLFamiliarity with GIT, OpenShift, and tools like Swagger UI, Postman, SOAPUIExperience with TDD using tools like JUnit (Protractor is a plus)Background with legacy frameworks like Struts/Hibernate is a bonusSoft Skills:Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetAnalytical and detail-oriented approach to refining requirements into actionable tasksFluent in English; passive understanding of French or Dutch is preferredPrevious experience in the banking domain is a plus, but not requiredImportant Note: Quarkus expertise is essential.
