About the roleJan De Nul Group has been specializing for years in specific offshore services for the oil, gas and renewable energy industries. These works range from seabed intervention works, subsea rock installation and ballasting to the installation of offshore wind farms and subsea power and communication cables.What you'll doAs Procurement Engineer you will be responsible for the strategic and economically feasible procurement within the framework of project specific requirements and in line with the company strategy. This within a challenging offshore and engineering context.Your responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring that project-related procurement follows a defined strategy and follows the applicable standards
  • Searching for new potential suppliers and recommending new suppliers, based on cost, specifications, inspections and risk assessment.
  • Advise regarding the selection of equipment and spare parts during the award phase
  • Manage all information regarding the market prices of the necessary material and equipment
  • Actively, even proactively participate in complex DBFM, D&B and EPC projects in close cooperation with the project team
  • Network and establish new contacts in this market
  • Build long-term relationships with suppliers
  • Work in a multidisciplinary project team
Your profile:You are an engineer with a master's degree.
