By joining our office in Diegem, Belgium as (Senior) Outside Sales Engineer, you will become part of the Global Sales team. #LI-HybridAn integral part of the role is leading sales activities and achieving the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets for the product lines, accounts and services in Belgium (mostly around Antwerp). Through engaging with our customers and providing high levels of service, you will expand and strengthen the relationship. Focus is on selling and promoting products and services, concepts and solutions as offered by the Final Control Business Unit and other strategically defined Emerson business units.Applications are welcome! Actively visit customers to promote the sale of Emerson's products and services & strategically negotiate, keeping in mind long term opportunities
Handle sales cycles from lead to closure
Manage and further develop Emerson's market position by understanding the customer's business drivers & goals and keeping up to date with their situations
Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product / value / period
Understand and work in team project form for integrated requests
Participate in relevant industry events

University degree in Engineering / Technical field or equivalent experience
Proven sales / business development experience in a commercial role
Affinity towards technology
CRM & MS Office tools
Proficiency in English and Dutch/ Flemish language
Availability to travel
Driving license

Matrix organization experience
Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of similar technical products (e.g. flow control, pressure management, valves, actuators, regulators) and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science)
