The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.ABOUT THE ROLE:Manage, in cooperation with the Department Manager, all maintenance-related aspects and projects within the operational scope, in order to ensure expected performance and timelines are met, while staying within budget constraints.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:BUDGET:
  • Maintenance budget: cooperates with the UGP Manager and Maintenance Manager to define the maintenance related budget for what is under his / her competence, manages the budget and performs variance analysis (both OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Investment budget: supports the UGP Manager and Maintenance in identifying needs for UGP machinery & equipment improvement.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING:
  • Elaborates the maintenance plans on a weekly and monthly basis (short/medium term), upon resources availability, evaluating the opportunity to advance / defer maintenance services according to information received by Maintenance operative team responsible and from the different stakeholders of the area.
  • Planned maintenance (medium/long tems): collects and analyzes smooth warnings from machinery & equipment and evaluates related relevance in order to perform maintenance services in a systematic way.
INTERVENTION EXECUTION:
  • Works delivery: assures right execution of operative tests before delivery plans, after the execution of planned or improving maintenance services.
  • Planned maintenance: cooperates with the colleagues of the department to assure the right execution of planned (and eventually deferred/corrective) maintenance, in order to assure the execution respecting timings.
  • Requests for maintenance services: analyzes and evaluates requests for interventions, defines priorities and communicates with defined counterparty.
  • Work Progress Monitoring: Oversees the progress of activities against the planned schedule and identifies corrective actions to be implemented when deviations from the plan occur.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
  • Initiatives evaluation: evaluate both at technical and economical level continuous improvement proposals, ensuring the development for those identified as valid and monitor the results once implemented
  • Implementation: propose and cooperate in the implementation of initiatives and support in the evaluation of target achievement.
  • Implementation of New Tools: Active participation in workshops and promotion of tools related to lean manufacturing techniques adopted by the company (e.g., Autonomous Maintenance, Professional Maintenance, Value Stream Mapping, etc.), both within the maintenance department and the UGP where he operates.
NEW PROJECTS and ASSET MANAGEMENT:
  • New Investments definition: propose, collect and analyze changes, update and / or substitution requests of equipment and machinery, performing a first feasibility evaluation
  • Design and realization: develop Investment Initiatives related to the UGPs under its area of competence, following their potential successive realization
  • Assembly: takes part in the assembly phase of new equipment’s cooperating with the entities in charge of it (Ferrero Engineering, suppliers)
  • Asset Management: Ensures proper lifecycle analysis of the assets within the assigned area of responsibility.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • For the people asigned in his team, responsible for leading them by promoting motivation, competence development, and empowerment, in alignment with Group values.
  • Participate in recruitment, coaching, and professional growth of team members, ensuring continuous evaluation and implementation of development initiatives.
