We are currently supporting one of our clients, a major player in the technical and industrial sector, in the search for an Accounting Manager to join their team based in Gosselies.
Supervise all general accounting tasks in compliance with Belgian GAAP and internal policies
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
Oversee AP/AR processes and cash flow management
Prepare financial statements and coordinate external audits
Act as a financial partner to operational teams and contribute to project reviews
Monitor budgets, variances and provide financial insights
Liaise with corporate functions (tax, treasury, controlling)
Optimize accounting procedures and support system/process improvement
Accounting Manager positionEvolve in a challenging environment within an industrial/technical sector
Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
5 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of BE GAAP, with IFRS being an asset
Excellent command of French and English; good knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage
Hands-on, reliable, and eager to work close to the business
Comfortable in a project-driven environment
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Navision, Oracle...) is a plus
