- Contribute your experience and knowledge in the area of regulatory frameworks to promote sustainability.
- Contribute with your knowledge of institutional and legislative processes to the development of corporate ESG strategies with regards to ESG regulation.
- Support the development of key strategic positions on ESG policy (e.g. data analysis, reports, advocacy materials, policies toolbox, presentations, etc.)
- Coordinate with relevant departments within the company (e.g. experts on Sustainability, Product Development and Manufacturing, Consumer, Commercial, etc.) in preparation to developing the optimal ESG policy position with regards to regulatory proposals.
- Coordinate analysis and impact assessment of legislative policy proposals, reports and studies by European institutional stakeholders and other industrial policies relevant to the company
- Directly lead and support the engagement with stakeholders from industries, key 3rd parties, business associations, consultancies and EU institutions.
- Bachelor or master's degree in Political Science, Public/Gov. Policy, European Affairs, Business Management, Law, or related fields
- Related work experience (8 years +) in Regulatory/Gov/Corporate Affairs (FMCG companies, EU institutions or consultancies) in highly regulated products
- Experience on the environmental, social and corporate governance policy (ESG) area a must
- Experience with business associations or EU institutions a plus
- Understanding/experience of the interplay between policy & politics in the EU legislative process a plus
- Ability to develop and prepare position papers, advocacy materials and executive-level presentations that are impactful
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Good understanding of interplay between business and ESG matters
- Ability to analyze issues and develop logical, customer-centric solutions, and distill into a concise, comprehensible, and impactful narrative
- Ability to manage complexity and collaboration with numerous cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, team working, agility, resilience, outcome orientation
