The client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join his team and cover the Wallonia regio.The Regional Sales Manager will be part of the Sales Department and report to the Area Sales Manager.Your client portfolio will be HORECA, wholesalers, catering and you will:
  • Deploy and manage sales priorities within your scope, in line with Company's sales strategy.
  • Analyze sales results and indicators and implement appropriate action plans.
  • Lead a team of sales representatives, set their objectives, and analyze weekly performance.
  • Implement actions to win new business and develop sales.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic accounts in the area by implementing all necessary follow-up and lobbying actions.
  • Respond to and exploit regional calls for tenders.
  • Train and support employees in developing their skills.
  • Ensure the application of the company's quality and safety procedures, in particular food safety rules in accordance with ISO 22000.
  • Field management of the team (3days/week) - being on the road
  • Participate in the recruitment, integration, training, and skills development of employees.
  • Conducting performance reviews at the legally required intervals and promoting the development of employees in their positions or within the company;
  • Setting objectives and evaluating the performance of team members during formal reviews and on a regular basis as part of their work;
  • Give meaning and contribute to the motivation of your team, in particular by relaying information both upwards and downwards;
  • Position yourself as a real driver of change by supporting the necessary changes initiated by the company and by proactively engaging with your team.
  • Enforce the hygiene and cold chain rules established for the activity.
Field Sales managementFoodservices
  • Master in Economics or Business engineering
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar position within the Foodservice sector
  • Commercial policy and strategy
  • Sales actions/techniques, Sales management
  • Negotiation techniques, Customer relations (external/internal)
  • People Management experience
  • Results-oriented
  • Fluent in French, English and Dutch
