  • Achieved a landmark victory for a US downstream petroleum manufacturer of fuels and petrochemical products in the transition review by the UK Trade
Remedies Authority of the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures on biodiesel, resulting in the removal of duties on imports of HVO from the US
  • Secured a significant victory in a case before the Court of Justice of the European Union, in case C-182/19, in relation to the customs classification of a medical product
  • Conducting the assessment of possible legal challenges pursuant to WTO and EU trade rules of the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Regulation for a non-EU steel manufacturer
  • Represented one of the largest integrated palm oil producers on the termination of the anti-subsidy investigation into imports of fatty acids from Indonesia
  • Assisted a sovereign government in Latin America in its successful free trade agreement negotiations with the EU
  • Advising various clients on sanctions issues in the context of EURussia sanctions and other sanctions programme
  • Advised on the winddown of a trade receivables program concluded between a leading European bank and an entity sanctioned pursuant to EU Russia sanctions
