About this Position We are looking for our Manager Plant Controller based in our Drogenbos Adhesive Technologies Plant (Brussels South). Your responsibilities will be as follows:What you´ll do
Plans, monitors, forecasts and reports cost and performance KPIs for plant management
Further development of internal reporting for production controls
Assist with planning and forecasting activities
Assesses decision options with appropriate KPIs and challenges management proposals (e.g. business/action plans or investments)
Support with cost object accounting (product costing) in SAP and cost center accounting in SAP
Participation in internal projects and continuous process optimization meetings
Support investment projects with focus on cost monitoring
Performs ad-hoc analyses and reporting activities
Support plant management and production teams (SHE, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) as well as cooperate with the other stakeholders (business, sales, supply planning, finance, etc.)
Participation in monthly and annual financial statements and reviews
Aligns with other controllers, shares and implements best practices
Ensures consistent application of procedures and aligns with Corporate Standards
Steers plant cost closing/reporting activities including collecting of relevant data, updating of price lists, updating of allocation keys, identify cost reduction potentials and initiates respective actions
Performs reporting and analyses variances, postings in IT-system, etc
What makes you a good fit
University degree with major in controlling/finance, accounting or similar subject
3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the industrial sector / at a plan
Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills
Fluent language skills in English, French and Dutch
SAP knowledge preferred. Intermediate to advance Excel and Power point skills.
