We are looking for a High Power Microwave (HPM) Engineer to develop cutting-edge HPM effectors and contribute to high-impact defense technology projects, within a multidisciplinary R&D team in the process of formation.Your main responsibilities include:
Designing and evaluating HPM effectors and their components (energy storage, pulsed generators, forming lines, antennas, etc.)
Bridging operational concepts (CONOPs) and technical implementation
Managing your research and coordinating subcontracted work (internal and external)
Conducting component testing and evaluations
Participating in technical reviews and documenting the design process thoroughly
Staying up to date with technological advancements in HPM and ELM for defense applications
Representing the technical team in joint international R&D initiatives
You hold a Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or Electronics, and have a strong background in electromagnetism and electrical systems. You combine research capability with an application-driven mindset and have a deep curiosity about HPM, ELM, and pulsed power systems.You are analytical, self-motivated, and demonstrate strong project management and communication skills. Knowledge in high-voltage circuits, transmission lines, antenna design, or electron physics is a plus. You are proficient in Python, fluent in English, and French is a bonus.
